
Orientation is a week long festival which runs in the first week of term. It is all about getting orientated with a focus on social events. You can expect to find some concerts with great kiwi acts, comedy shows, hypnotist acts and of course a toga party. During the day there are street performers, free bbqs and a clubs and market day.
Orientation passes can be purchased through LUSA reception prior to arriving or when you get here. They are limited so be in quick so as not to miss out! Check out our 2010 line up here. Featured in 2010 was Salmonella Dub Soundsystem, Taos, The Datsuns, Street Chant, The Notorious Comedy Tour with Steve Wrigley, Ben Hurley and Jamie Bown + Hypnotist Ian Blaine.

Winterfest otherwise known as B Semester Orientation is one MASSIVE day/night to celebrate the start of the second semester and welcome new students. In 2009 LUSA built a huge jib set-up and had Rhombus and State of Mind playing. Riders came from all over to put on a great show and compete for the top prizes. 
The 2010 Winterfest will be held on Wednesday 14th July and planning is underway to bring some top kiwi acts your way! We'll be trucking in the snow once more for an epic jib session so watch this space for more details on some of the cool prizes up for grabs this year!!!
The line-up is now confirmed!!! Hosting the Jib Jam Comp is MC Mana and Dubstep Central Crew - Timmy C and J Red. Then on the indoor stage Rhythmonyx warm up for Tiki Taane (acoustic) + DJ Sambora (Shapeshifter). Stay tuned for more details!

International Night is held every year and is a celebration of the cultural diversity we have at Lincoln. Student's are invited to perform and cook to show off their home countries. The 2010 International Night will be held on Saturday 14th August.
You could decide to cook, perform - or both!!! Or you might just like to come and enjoy the show. Tickets will be on sale closer to the time.

Awards Night The Blues, Gold and Green Awards Night is a night for Lincoln University to celebrate those students who have achieved excellence or made an outstanding contribution to the University community.
Nominations open soon. The 2010 Awards Night will be held on 29 September. Nominations for the Blues, Golds and Greens close 15 August.

Grad Ball is a great chance to catch up with old friends and celebrate your success. This year it will be held on Thursday 15th April in the Union Lounge at Lincoln University. A live will play all the hits and buses will take you back into town at the end of the night.

Garden Party No year is complete without Garden Party!!! This year it will be held on Friday 15th October. Work has already started to secure a sweet line up. Like always costumes are essential and you can check out some of the cool designs from previous years in the photo gallery. Tickets will be on sale closer to the time!
