Hi, I’m Hannah, the Agriculture and Life Sciences Rep and Post Graduate Officer on LUSA this year.  I am currently studying towards a Masters in Food Biochemistry after graduating this year with a BSc (Food Science).  My interests include food (check out the Food Appreciation Club on the Clubs page), food production systems, sport and outdoor activities such as tramping and hunting. 

The reason I joined LUSA is to gain knowledge of the university system and experience in politics, as well as to help ensure that all science and agriculture students know how and are able to make the most of their years at university.

This year I have also picked up the role of Post Graduate Officer, which means I am one of the many people within the university that represent and voice the needs and views of postgraduate students.  I’d like to encourage communication and networking between postgraduate students, both within and between faculties at Lincoln University and also other universities in New Zealand.  I’d also like to see the continuation of a strong and successful postgraduate sector of the university.
