Hardship Fund.

The Lincoln University Students’ Association (LUSA) is committed to supporting students who are undergoing unforeseen financial difficulty.

Eligibility

To apply to the Hardship Fund, students must be enrolled at Lincoln University. The Fund is available to both domestic and international students.

To be considered, students must prove they are experiencing an unexpected financial issue that is compromising their studies. The Hardship Fund is a last resort.

This fund cannot be used for course fees or savings for visa applications. Payments are one off and for unforeseen circumstances.

We do our best to process applications as quickly as possible however, please note, due to a high volume of applications, there is currently a two week processing time.

Donate to the Hardship Fund:

The LUSA Hardship Fund has already supported a number of students who’ve been adversely affected by the Covid19 pandemic and are for a variety of reasons in financial difficulty as result of it. The Hardship Fund is currently funded by a small portion of the Student Services Levy that all students are required to pay when enrolling to study. Individual donations are however always welcome and will enable the Hardship Fund to continue to support students not just at this difficult time, but also going forward, with a variety of financially challenging situations that students can find themselves in whilst studying.

If you would like to make a donation, please deposit funds into the following bank account: 123153 0046089 03 with reference: HF Donation
