Due to a high volume of applications, there is currently a two week processing time. 

You may or may not be aware that the government has put out funding for students in need of financial support. These have been called the Hardship Fund for Learners and the International Student Hardship Fund.

Students do not apply for these funds separately, as they are to support existing hardship funds and initiatives.

If you are in financial difficulty you need to apply for support through the LUSA Hardship Fund. All currently enrolled students are eligible to apply.

This fund cannot be used for course fees or savings for visa applications. Payments are one off and for unforeseen circumstances.
